I just got home from my friends house. His brother was there and he was acting very strange. He smelt funny and I thought maybe he was sick. My friend told me that he went out with his friends and that he was smoking pot. He was slurring his words and wasn't making any sense when he was talking. Why would anyone do that to themselves? My friend said that he does it all the time and has been failing school ever since he started. He's throwing his life away and he's only 16 years old. I'm never going to do that.
Anyone have any stories about their friends being so dumb? I can't believe that people do that.

I had a boyfriend when I was 16 who used to go behind my back and smoke pot.
ReplyDeleteI caught him doing it and it ended our relationship. Not only was he doing drugs, he was lying to me about it - and in the end he blamed the lying ON THE DRUGS! He said the weed made him lie. He still had this idea in his head that he could manage to get through school, even while smoking 4 joints a day.
So, where is he now? Well, he ended up getting kicked out of school after forgetting to hand assignments, failing tests and coming late to class so many times. Since he had no money, he decided to start selling weed until he could find a real job. Well, the money was so good that he never got a real job... and then eventually one day he ended up selling to an undercover cop and got himself arrested. So now where is he? He is 24, has no education, no work experience and very obviously, no job. He also has no friends left, because he let us all down.
Most "potheads" that I know have "thrown their lives away" at a very young age. Most aren't doing very much. One got pregnant, one got into a bad car accident, a few others got arrested. The rest of them still sit around on their couches smoking every night, doing their 9 to 5 in the day and generally hating their lives.
So the moral? Pot is no "soft" drug. It's stupid and a lot more dangerous than people make it out to be. I'd definitely stay away. There are SO many more things out there that'll give you a good time.
